Steps to Proceed with a Commissioned Painting

1. What is the subject? Examples: landscape, floral, portrait.
2. What will be the size? Examples: 22" x 28", 30" x 40".
3. Is it to be  horizontal, vertical or square?
4. What colors will be used?  Examples: Spice colors, earth colors.
5. Anything you can furnish as source materials.  Example: photos.
6. The next step is designing an idea in pencil and discussing a price.
7. Then a final sketch will be prepared and approved by you.
8. Finally, a finished painting in oil on canvas will be created, framed and delivered.
